Our Boat

Our first fully accessible boat has been designed with the end user at the centre of the creative process to make sure its fit for purpose. It even has a fully accessible toilet which is unique on this kind of craft and allows for longer trips out onto the river Blackwater.

The build of the boat used a new concept involving a process called infusion that uses less material and allows for a lighter boat which is more fuel efficient.

From comfortable access onto the Swiftcat power boat via our roller ramp through the extra wide doors onto our level and spacious deck with wheelchair locking points and full access to the rest of the Catamaran including the driving position. We look forward to welcoming you on board and sharing our wonderful waterfront, rich history and amazing wildlife.

The team at Freedom Boat Adventures hold the relevant qualifications to operate on the River Blackwater and have years of experience working on these waters.

Support staff have had full training on their role, First Aid trained and hold a recognised DBS Certificate.

We operate under strict government regulations and have a full set of operational procedures we work to

The Boat - ROZMORE is surveyed and registered to operate and will have daily weekly and monthly safety checks and maintenance programs in place
The boat is equipped with safety items as set out in the regulations. This includes but not limited to:

VHF radios
Flares
First aid equipment
Firefighting equipment
Life raft
